The Medcorder recording device is installed in your exam rooms by our team and is operated by the patient to record all or part of the consultation, with your permission.
The patient enters their phone number to begin recording, and when the recording is complete they receive a text mesasge with a link to access their recording online. Your office will also have free access to all recordings and transcriptions within your own online Office Portal.
The device and service are offered at no charge to you or your patients.

We care about keeping patient information private.
The patient enters their own phone number into the device, which is owned and operated by Mecorder. Therefore, electronic patient health data (ePHI) is not transferred and a BAA is not required.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest and we exceed industry best practices around managing access to patient data.
